The new Cuesta-Rey Centenario series was introduced one month ago at the RTDA cigar trade show in Las Vegas. This series comprises of the 4 most popular Cuesta-Rey sizes with a new, fuller blend of vintage tobaccos. The Cuesta-Rey Pyramid #9 (6 1/4" x 52) is the flagship cigar of the Cuesta-Rey brand. This series also includes: the Cuesta-Rey Belicoso #11 (4 7/8" x 50), Cuesta-Rey Dominican #60 (6" x 50), Cuesta-Rey Robusto #7 (4.5" x 50) cigars. Most of these cigars are available in either a Connecticut Shade Natural or Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper and feature a Dominican binder with filler tobacco coming from around the world. There is a limited availability of the maduro figuardo sizes.

The new band of the Cuesta-Rey Centenario series showcases the rich history of the Cuesta-Rey brand. The central woman figure was of a member of the Spanish Royal Court. She has graced the Cuesta-Rey band since 1884. During the reign of King Alfonse XIII, Cuesta-Rey was the official cigar of the Royal Court. In addition, the rich history of the Cuesta-Rey brand includes winning a premier medal of achievement for the Panama-Pacific Expedition of 1914.
