Renowned French artist and acclaimed master of the naif trade, Michel Delacroix, was specially
commissioned by Consolidated Cigars to create the box art for this new line. Known
for his Paris street scenes, Delecroix's Montecristo masterpiece depicts a Paris at an
earlier time, when life was sweet and spirits gentle, and when the scent of wine, rich
cigars, and the first roses of the season perfurmed the soft breezes of moon-lit summer
evenings.
